Snoring and OSA are different Manifestations of the same pathophysiological disorder. Per se is not dangerous to overall health, but can become a social problem for snorer as well sleeping partner. Since first description uvulopalatopharyngoplasty by Ikematsu in 1964 numerous variations surgical procedures soft palate treatment primary snoring have been published.
